Bathroom facilities need an upgrade, showing signs of age. There was a distinct lack of sunbeds at the pool, forcing some guests to lay on the grass. Issues arose with the spa facility being closed unexpectedly, especially frustrating for those who booked with wellness access in mind. An unpleasant cigarette smell lingered from the downstairs bathroom during checkout, detracting from the experience.

The location of Páteo dos Solares really stood out, just a 5-minute walk to the center of Estremoz. My room, the Superior Double or Twin Room, was spacious and very clean, which I appreciated. The garden area with well-maintained outdoor spaces was lovely to relax in. Breakfast offered a variety of hot dishes and cold options, but it could use more fresh vegetables for added choices. Had a hiccup with the check-in, as I had to wait for someone to arrive. The pool area seemed inviting, but it was a bit small and crowded. Some common areas lacked cleanliness, and there was a shortage of parking, which made things tricky at times. The service from staff members was polite, but understaffing was evident during peak times.

The corner room was beautifully bright and offered lovely views of the surrounding fields. I found the bed incredibly comfortable with soft linens, and the breakfast provided a wide variety of delicious options. The outdoor area with its charming garden view created a perfect spot for relaxation, even if the weather didn't allow for a swim.

The location was super convenient, just a stroll away from the city center! The staff was really helpful and welcoming, Luis in the restaurant had great knowledge about local dishes and produce. The swimming pool with its lovely fountain was an added bonus!
